2nd Sunday gatherings are modeled after Friends of the River Banks who, for more than 10 years, have been hosting community gatherings along the American River at Sutter’s Landing. Roots of Connection is following their lead and launching programs in Carmichael.

Roots of Connection’s vision is that in the next 5 years, 5 different communities will hold 2nd Sunday (or Saturday) events at various locations along the American River. Imagine 5 communities, every second Sunday (or Saturday), bringing people together to foster the care and protection of our river, and each other!
